Kōkua Agent is a lightweight background service from JP Tech. It watches key parts of your computer, performs routine maintenance, and opens a Kōkua Ticket for our team if something needs attention — so small issues don’t turn into big problems.
Not antivirus. Not bloatware. Just steady, local computer care for Molokaʻi.
What it does (in plain language)
CPU, memory, storage space, and uptime stay within healthy ranges.
Cleanup tasks and gentle reboot reminders to keep things smooth.
If something looks off, a Kōkua Ticket is created so we can follow up.
No pop-ups, no dashboards to learn, no slowing things down.
Works on Windows and macOS.
Kōkua Agent is currently for Molokaʻi residents only.

All prices shown are per device, billed monthly. Add or remove devices any time; each device has its own subscription.

How sign-up and setup works
- Email us: Send a note via the Kōkua Agent form and mention you want to sign up for Kōkua Agent, which plan (Basic or Pro), and how many devices (e.g., 1 laptop + 1 desktop). Prefer email? kokua@jptech.llc
- Schedule a quick meeting: We’ll walaʻau, answer questions, confirm the plan, and set up your subscription.
- Choose your install:
- OTT Drop-off: Bring your device to OTT; we’ll install Kōkua Agent and return it to OTT for pickup.
- Remote Setup: We can securely connect and install without you leaving home.
- We mālama: Once installed, Kōkua Agent runs quietly. If an issue pops up, it opens a ticket and we’ll contact you to kōkua.
Luana helps with scheduling/admin, and Tylor at OTT handles drop-offs/pickups. You’ll always know who you’re working with.
Plan details (per device pricing)
Benefit: Ongoing monitoring and preventative maintenance so your computer stays healthy. If hands-on repair is ever needed, JP Tech can kōkua — you just pay for the labor (plus any parts or paid software).
The Basic Plan gives you peace of mind every day, with the flexibility to pay only when service is actually needed.
Benefit: Extra support without surprise labor costs. With the Pro Plan, you don’t have to worry about hourly service charges — JP Tech will handle reasonable issues as part of your subscription.
The Pro Plan is the best choice if you want all-in coverage for most needs, and the confidence that we’ll step in whenever required.

Subscription terms
- All plans billed monthly, per device (each device = one subscription).
- No refunds once a billing cycle has started.
- You must cancel before your next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month.
- Cancellations are simple — just use the Kōkua Agent form or email kokua@jptech.llc.
